A League of God’s Own

By the grace of True God through faith in the Son of God – and with the help of The Helper – His Holy Spirit –Whom Jesus sends into the hearts of His Own – those who believe the gospel of God – those who receive the love of the truth – God’s Word is Truth –

“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

“For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person – though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die – but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. The league of the broken-hearted, the poor, the penniless, the empty-handed, the very tired, the seekers-for-Someone who can truly help them – help us – help US – help

All the People on Earth

All Living Things on Earth

It’s a Spiritual League – “This League of God’s Own”

It’s invisible to the world. It has no place on earth – but only in the heart – the heart of true believers . . .

Believers in True God – the Lord of heaven and earth.

It’s the Church of the Living God –

Composed of all true believers in True God — in heaven and on earth – the living and the departed.

Some may over-simplify and believe all we have to do is “love one another”

But, that’s only The Second Commandment – the one about “love your neighbor”

The First Commandment is about loving God . . .

Loving the Loving God Who Is Also Light and Spirit . . .

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. But there are some of you who do not believe. (For Jesus knew from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.) And he said, ‘This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.’” -John 6: 63-65. ESV Study Bible.

How can we love our neighbor if we ignore The First Commandment ?

And can we even know about and truly understand God’s Second Commandment unless we read and believe The First Commandment ?

It isn’t easy to love our neighbor – especially when the whole world lies in wickedness.

We need help.

God IS Our Helper!

His Holy Spirit is The Comforter, the Counselor, the Spirit of truth, the Spirit of understanding.

So, we can’t do The Second Commandment unless we obey The First Commandment – and receive His Blessings . . . His grace and faith in His Son and the help of His Holy Spirit Whom He sends into the hearts of those true believers in the gospel of God.

We need True God in our heart and mind and soul and spirit.

We need His Word – His Living Word –

The Living Word of The Living God To All of us/US . . .

All of us who are waiting for The Second Coming of Jesus Christ our Savior.

“I charge you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who in his testimony before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, to keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which he will display at the proper time – he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. We need brokenness to become True God’s Children – just as a seed opens and sprouts through breaking open – so our hearts must break open.

As Leonard Cohen wrote in one of his songs:

Christ is the Light and we need brokenness for Him to come into our broken hearts and broken lives . . .

Ungodly, worldly Politics and its love of power and devotion to Money has turned our government, our country, and our nation over to the corrupt corporate state of Babylon the Great. And Babylon is of, by and for the false “god of this world.”

Those who want no part of that ungodliness must do what True God’s Living Word tells us to do in order to be saved from His wrath that is coming upon the world that lies in wickedness.

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world – the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions – is not from the Father but is from the world.
