After almost 9 months I still don’t know who that online correspondent really is. Everything she tells me about herself remains dubious and doubtful and in the darkness.

The above words are about my online email correspondent. I don’t want to directly criticize her; so, I’m stating the matter here on my blog – just to put it out there and get it outside of my own mind.
Changing the subject now . . . I had an imaginary idea of a lady on a secluded beach. She was just lying there alone basking in the light.
Mister Tide and the Lady on the Shore
I’m 72 and — all my life until now – didn’t know there’s a Shore Road just beyond Woonsocket, Rhode Island leading into Blackstone, Massachusetts – until I saw it on an old street map of Woonsocket and her environs – including the southern parts of Blackstone and Bellingham, Massachusetts. Just a few days ago, I walked on that Shore Road. It is behind Precious Blood Cemetery in Woonsocket where my grandmother and grandfather and Aunt Estelle and other relatives of the generations before me are buried – awaiting the Resurrection — when Christ the Lord returns and Raptures the true believers of the Gospel of God and have the true faith of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour in our hearts and minds and souls and spirits and bodies — in our daily walk with Him — by His Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth and understanding living within us as we truly believe on Him our Redeemer and Good Shepherd. The name “Shore Road” also has a special significance for me because of a Hardy Boys Mystery Story called, “The Shore Road Mystery.” It is number 6 in the entire series. I read all 58 of their stories as a boy – and even later, I read some of them again. I enjoyed imagining the scenes in those stories about their adventures in fictional Bayport and on Barmet Bay in their Sleuth motorboat; and with their friends [Chet Morton, Biff Hooper, Tony Prito, Jerry Gilroy and Phil Cohen, Iola Morton and Callie Shaw] at the waterfront of Bayport following up on clues – in search of the solutions to their detective work. That was how I discovered the world of imagination – as I noticed I could “see” the scenes I was reading about in the stories. It was for me like going on a vacation away from home while I read their stories in my bedroom sitting in a comfortable chair with a desk lamp nearby – and quietly going into the imagination and seeing those fictional characters in action. Now at 72, I write about the things I imagine. I don’t have to read them in some other writer’s book. And I write about my walks and things that happen in my life – even if it is a lonely and lowly life – things are still happening.
Now about Mister Tide and The Lady on the Shore. As she was lying there the tide began to come in. After a while the softly coming tide began touching her toes. She felt it and enjoyed it. That’s why she was laying there so close to the water’s edge. She enjoyed – maybe even loved – the feelings she felt as Mister Tide began touching her body on the shore.

The tide continued coming in. It began to reach her ankles and then her legs and then her knees. And as Father Time went by Mister Tide was reaching more and more of the Lady on the Shore. She loved what he was doing to her. And he loved her, too. She loved the coolness of his touch in the warm and bright sunny light shining down on her earthly body from the heavenly Above.
