The Milking at Midnight
In the Light of the Midnight Oil
Those words came to me yesterday.
As I wondered about them, I thought of Kate
And loving her . . .
And wondered about many things . . .
“What Happened at Midnight” – a Hardy Boys Mystery Story I read so many decades ago – when I was a boy – that I cannot remember what happened at midnight in that story. And neither do I know what will happen between Kate and Mark at midnight in their love story.
I’m sure that mystery story had nothing to do with an older man falling in love with a much younger woman. Frank and his younger brother Joe had girlfriends; but the stories were not romantic.
And yet there is this about falling in love with Kate
The love in my heart for Kate wants to love her in every way imaginable –
As a father loves his beautiful daughter — as a husband loves his wife — as a boyfriend loves his girlfriend — as a boy loves his mother — as a mother loves her baby.
Love-making . . .
The milking of the breast
A man loving his wife also gives her a kind of milk – man’s milk – rather than mother’s milk.
A miracle of love — a woman-wife-not-pregnant — yet giving her milk to her husband.

What about “in the light of the midnight oil”?
Maybe the understanding of that will only be given on the marriage bed at midnight – if Kate and Mark be married in True God’s Love and enjoy His togetherness and His faithfulness toward each other.
“He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the LORD.” -Proverbs 18: 22. ESV Study Bible.
Lately in my reading, I often count the number of letters of words – looking for the ones that have my number 8 – or, maybe — our number 8 – Kate and Mark. Kate rhymes with 8.

I’ll never forget Kate’s Way of spelling that word: Pieces.
Sounds like Pie Sees – Sounds almost like Pie Seeds
Imagine Pie Seeds you plant in your garden; and you water the garden; and in several weeks in late Springtime and in early Summertime, pies begin to sprout in your garden. What kind of pies? Well, it depends on which kind of pie seeds you plant, of course. If you plant good seeds then you get good pies; and if you plant bad seeds then you get bad pies.

May this writing concerning God’s Word of the gospel of Christ and love for Kate bring about a great reaping of eternal life for both Kate and Mark and multitudes of other people. And may we ALL live in the house of the Lord forever and ever; and see each other always and constantly in God’s True Love in Eternity.

And the sign for Pisces is a Fish.

Some things change at Midnight
The ending of yesterday becomes the beginning of Today
Night becomes morning.

Listening to the following song, I got a new understanding of what’s going on between Kate and Mark. It seems that, maybe, if Kate got Mark, she’d only be getting “the old man.” And, maybe, it wouldn’t be good for young Kate to get that old man – and it wouldn’t be good for Mark, either – to let the old man in.
