The Four Seasons of Life Are All Mysterious

You don’t know what you’re into while you’re going through them – especially in the beginning.

Springtime

It’s when we’re young and lively.

Summer

It’s when we’re just having fun in the sun.

Autumn

It’s when we’re getting older and slowing down and everything seems to be falling to the ground – like Autumn leaves . . .

Winter

The season of stillness

It’s when we come to the end of the story of our life. We close the book. We go to sleep . . .

And Then Comes Eternity

It’s when we live right here and now – no longer thinking about the Past nor looking forward to the Future. When we are in God’s Way we don’t dwell on the Past. We live Today. We have the mind of Christ. We are in obedience to our heavenly Father – just as Jesus taught us.

And we realize that everything we ever did – all our life – happened . . .

Right Here and Right Now . . .

And Everything Throughout History All Happened Right Here and Right Now.

And there is no end to here and now. It’s always Here . . . It’s always Now.

There has never been a Time when it wasn’t Here and wasn’t Now.

Did you ever do anything at a Time when it wasn’t right here and right now ?

We can’t get away from here and now because it’s infinite and eternal.

It only seems like there was a Past and there will be a Future.

In Reality, there is only Here and Now.

Nothing Can Ever Happen in Life When It Isn’t Right Here and Right Now.

Life Only Happens in the Here and Now.

This Is Eternity

The Eternal Right Here and Right Now.

When you were born it hasppened right in the here and now.

And when you die it will also has been right here and right now.

We can never get away from right here and right now.

It never goes away.

So, the question may come up:

What about Death ?

Answer:

Those who believe the gospel learn not to judge by mere appearances. For example: when someone dies – it’s only the body of flesh that dies. And it is written: “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life. But there are some of you who do not believe.” -Jesus. [John 6: 63-64a. ESV Study Bible].

Those who truly believe the gospel become spiritual.

They are no longer merely natural. They have acquired something more – newness of life. Their inner person continues radiating no matter if the body of the flesh stops beating and breathing. They suddenly become free of the body of this death and go on without mortality into immortality and the imperishable. But those who see only with the eyes of the flesh – whose eyes of understanding they have closed – are unable to see the spiritual – so, they judge according to appearances only – and draw a false conclusion. They are deceived by the god of this age.

“And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.’” -2 Corinthians 4: 3-6. Imagining an acorn . . .

He’s has no idea what or who he is. He begins as just this little nutcase. And he breaks open and becomes this little sprout. And if things go well, he grows and grows and eventually becomes a tree. And his branches become places for birds to perch and for squirrels to make nests with his leaves. And he gives countless acorns to the squirrels for their food. And after many years he dies – but that is not the end of his story. From his huge trunk and large branches boards are made for lumber; and someone builds a house with those boards; and the family that lives in that house knows nothing about that little acorn that became a tree and became the floors and the walls and the frame of their house.
