Just had a thought earlier today –

My first-grade teacher at St. Charles School was
Sister Mary Carlene, RSM
She taught me — She taught us — how to spell and read and write.
More than 60 of us in Her first-grade classroom.
And on Friday afternoons, the second-grade class came into the first-grade classroom –
And we all sang songs together.
There must have been more than 100 of us in Sister Mary Carlene’s classroom.
While reading Her obituary recently for the first time, noticed her birthday is a famous day in Shakespearean literature and Roman history: The Ides of March. And She departed this life on 7/7/2022.
