Pondering Politics, Lately

It has little to do with governing –

And a lot to do with destroying

-Destroying government

-Destroying peace on earth

-Destroying trust

And it also has a lot to do with creating . . .

Creating anarchy

Creating confusion

Creating suffering and poverty for the many poor

Creating wealth and excess for the wealthy few

Creating wickedness

Creating madness

Creating violence

Creating injustice

Just as love has nothing to do with hatred

Just as light has nothing to do with darkness

Just as peace has nothing to do with violence

Just as goodness has nothing to do with evil

Just as gentleness has nothing to do with aggression

Politics no longer has anything to do with God and Country and People

Politics no longer has anything to do with righteousness

Politics has become possessed by the “god of this world.”

And just as the corrupt politics in Russia has been devoting itself for 3 years to the destruction of her neighbor Ukraine – contrary to God’s Will and His Commandment to “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.”– so politics in the USA is also becoming corrupt and a tool for destruction here in America – even a tool for The Destruction of the USA by corrupt politics.

How senseless and unreasonable it is that The Treasury of the USA is 37 trillion dollars in debt – and the politicians are discussing lowering the tax rate on the wealthy! And they are seeking to destroy all government endeavors to help the needy. The wicked wealthy seek and desire to stop helping the poor; and increasingly help themselves to all the worldly wealth they can avariciously amass for their selfish selves – like gluttons.

“And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, ‘Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them!
