Babylon the great harlot is not a woman. It is a city.
“And the woman that you saw is the great city that has dominion over the kings of the earth.” -Revelation 17: 18. ESV Study Bible.

lest you take part in her sins,
lest you share in her plagues;

It is a blatant failure of fiscal management to be lowering tax rates on the extremely wealthy at a time when a country is extremely in debt. This failure to do the right thing — raising tax rates in a reasonable manner on the wealthiest — is only making the national economic situation much more desperate for the country.
The reason why they are not raising the tax rate – and why they are lowering the tax rate on the wealthiest is because “the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil.”
“But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.” -1 Timothy 6: 9-10. And putting the love of money above God and Country is idolatry.
Idolatry is against the First Commandment.
And they are also failing to be responsible for the poorest and the aliens.
That is against the Second Commandment.
God bless the United States of America.
God bless our leaders and lawmakers.
God bless all of US to put aside politics and self-interest.
Heavenly Father, in the name of the Son of God our Lord Jesus Christ, please deliver US from the wicked influence of “the god of this world.”
