Dear Janet, you may be an adult now at 37 – legally and physically;
However, when you reach 73 – as I am – you will see and understand things much differently than you do now. A physically adult woman at 37 is still maturing all the days of her life. And if she is born again – by the grace of God through faith in the Son of God – and receives the Helper, the Holy Spirit – in her heart – the Spirit of truth and understanding — then she is changed from the natural to the spiritual. And still, she continues to grow up – now she is growing up in The Lord her God.
