“God’s Girl”

My dad, Raymond Arthur Richer, was born 100 years ago today on August 29th, 1925. In fact, from my apartment windows and porch on the 8th floor here at John F. Kennedy Manor, I can see the area where Gobeille Avenue had been located. That street isn’t there anymore. It was shaped something like an arc; it veered left off Social Street and then it came back and rejoined Social Street further up the road. He was born on a Saturday. This year, August 29th is a Friday. My dad lived only 49 years and 4 months; but he accomplished a lot in those 49 years. He was a pilot in the Army Air-Corp during World War Two — before it became the United States Air Force. After the war, he got married on June 19th in 1948. June 19th is now a national holiday called Freedom Day or Juneteenth. He and his wife, my mom, had 7 children together. And, after the War, while working full time at Jolicoeur Furniture Store in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, he took night courses at Rhode Island Radio and Electronics School at Garden City in Cranston, Rhode Island, where he learned television and radio electronics. Then he opened his own business: Richer’s Radio and TV on Elm Street in Woonsocket — right across the street from The House of Brides bridal shop. I worked there. It was my first job while a teenager. When my mom had a new baby girl, my dad used to ask her, “How’s my best girl ?”

There is a new heavens and a new earth coming –

A New Reality

It will be seen and enjoy-wed only by those who are accounted worthy by the Lord –

Those who are born again believers in Him – Jesus Christ the Son of God Most High

The Lord of heaven and earth

The way and the truth and the life.

Only those who truly believe the gospel of Jesus Christ will be there –

The Kingdom of God

The New Heavens and the New Earth –

Which New Heavens and New Earth He will bring into Reality – into A New Being . . . Newness of Life.

“Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

“For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. For one who has died has been set free from sin. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. For US who receive the love of the truth and believe in Him our Lord and Savior.

Life becomes more and more real for US who are born again by the grace of God through faith in God’s Only-Begotten Son Jesus Christ the Lord – and receive His Holy Spirit into our hearts – the Spirit of Truth – the Spirit of Understanding – understanding God’s Word – His Holy Scriptures – and His Living Word – the Lord Jesus Christ our Redeemer and Good Shepherd.

She can tell the truth !

She is authentic . . .

She is for real !

No kidding around with her.

Her heart always tells the truth.

It is her badge of courage to be honest with you.

Her heart has been circumcised by the Lord Her God

Therefore, she has a tender heart.

She has Sincerity.

She is the genuine article.

She radiates Light

Her Presence is Really Special !

Really Spiritual . . .

She Embodies The Holy Spirit of the Lord Her God Almighty – Jesus Christ the Lord !

The Lamb of God Who Takes Away the Sin of the World !

When you are near Her –

You Come Alive !

You begin to sense Reality –

A New Sense of Reality

You experience being in the kingdom of God

And . . .

It feels like Paradise !

Her Presence takes you into The Garden –

The garden of Eden

Where it is All Perfect

Before the Fall of Man

No thorns nor thistles there . . .

It’s all grace and goodness and peace with Her

She was born again – by the Faith of Jesus Christ Her Lord and Savior – Her Redeemer !

And what An Abundant Spiritual Birth it was and continues to be with Her and For Her . . .

She radiates the glory of Her True God Who Lives in Her Bosom

In Her Heart

That belongs to Him –

Her Lord and Savior

She Lives in His Shekinah Glory

She belongs to Him –

In Spirit, Soul and Body.

She is all By Him and For Him and To Him

She is the Lady of the Lord

She is the Lord in Lady Form

Gracious God

His Shekinah Glory

His Presence

His Presence in She-Form

She doesn’t get proud about this.

Her Lord is on the throne of her heart – not self.

Years ago, she read the writings of Henry David Thoreau.

He mentioned Vedic scriptures. She read a little about that topic. And she heard about the Atman. Then someone began telling her about the gospel of Jesus Christ –

And she had the thought – the conviction — that Jesus Christ may be the Atman.

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” -Revelation 21: 1-4 ESV Study Bible.
