Unto Divine Personhood
Even the Personhood of “Christ in you” – “the hope of glory”
The Personhood of the Lord
“Jesus Christ is Lord!”
“Even so, Come, Lord Jesus”
Some new ideas [at least they’re new to me] about self.
Maybe many of us take for granted that our thinking starts with self. For example, I was just thinking this evening about finding something to do – something I might enjoy doing besides writing. So, I began with my self – by asking the question: What else might I like to do ? And then, being a Christian, I wondered: Maybe I should NOT ask “What would I like to do ?” Maybe, the question should be: “What would the Lord want me to do ?” And, maybe, I should go to my room and close the door and pray to God: Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name what else could I do besides writing ?” “What would You like me to do ?”
I’m waiting now for His answer.
Maybe we all need to become non-self-centered.
Maybe, believing in self is a vain thing.
Maybe, as long as we are self-centered, we are “in a box” that keeps us closed in – like a seed encapsulated in its shell.
Maybe, only when we sprout out of our shell do we become liberated and free.
Jesus said, “If the Son of God shall make you free you shall be free indeed.”
Maybe, when we become born again – and receive the Lord’s Spirit, we become Christ-centered – and thus – no longer self-centered.
I recall the Swiss psychiatrist, Carl Jung, writing about a “non-ego center.”
Maybe, the Lord Jesus Christ is that non-ego center – and much more . . .
And maybe – by believing in him — and learning to think a little differently, is the way to a renewal of our minds.
Maybe, we need to change our thinking from beginning our sentences with the word “I.”
For example: Instead of thinking: “I feel so tired. I don’t want to do anything.” I might think:
“Lord, what would you have me do – even in this state of tiredness ?”
And, if He replies: “Take a nap.” And I go to bed and sleep, I’m no longer just doing things my own way. I’m now doing things according to what my Lord and Savior is telling me to do. And thus, I’m following Him. And this also means that I’m no longer all by myself. I’m in relationship with Him, my good Shepherd.
Christ in you – the hope of glory.
And this is also very helpful in writing; because if I’m too self-centered then I wouldn’t be able to write dialogue – two people having a conversation. I would only be capable of imagining my own thoughts – not anyone else’s thoughts. But, when I become liberated and free from self – then I can imagine someone else’s thoughts, too. I’m no longer alone in my own self.
And this experience of “sprouting” or “getting out of the box” can be a growing experience – such that we become able to think about larger issues – as we grow up in this personal relationship with God.

And we begin realizing that this “other” Person within us is like our divine brother – or sister – and later – our Divine Father – and later still – we begin realizing that – by Him – we are members of the Household of God – and – members of the Family of God – and that – when this Present Life is ended – we will begin a New Life in Heaven – that will be increasingly glorious and last forever and ever. Amen.

Are you waiting for Him ?
Are you believing in Him and on Him ?
Have you received Him by the grace of God through faith in His Name and believing the gospel ?
Are you born again ?
Are you One with Him ?
Do you believe in One True God –
The Father the Son and the Holy Spirit ?
Do you believe the gospel of Jesus Christ ?
Do you read His Word –
To Be Informed by His Living Word ?
Is Jesus Christ becoming Personified in you ?
Are you becoming
One with Him ?
As He is One with His Father —
Is His Father your Father ?

Politics wrote and passed laws legalizing the killing of the unborn by the millions – and for decades this atrocity – this holocaust – was legally paid for by medical insurance companies.
God has put that political party out of power.
And God is using another political party now to punish those who legalize evil.
And then, God will also punish the currently-in-power political party for the evil they are doing to Government – serving the wealthy – and depriving the poor – putting The Nation’s Treasury 39 trillion dollars in debt – while they allow their billionaire friends to gorge themselves – like financial gluttons – on worldly wealth for The Few – and Poverty for The Many.
This Inequity by Politics Will Also Be Punished by God.
Their Political Party Is Also Wicked.
Imagine the Wrath of God Coming Down Out of Heaven – The Arm of the LORD –
To bash their brains and break their necks with His Almighty Fist !
But that is only an imagining.
