I still can recall – as a young boy – not even school age yet –

My mother telling me to watch Pow Wow the Indian Boy on TV.

I don’t remember if I watched cartoons about Little Hiawatha, but

Our grandmother lived in a cottage right on the shore of Lake Hiawatha in Bellingham, Massachusetts – and we often went there on Sundays. And in summertime, we swam in the lake; and other times we visited her indoors. Me mere Richer had 8 children; so, the gatherings there were of many aunts and uncles and cousins. Most of us grandchildren never met our grandfather. He departed early in life – when he was only about 52. I think it was just after Valentine’s Day in 1950.
