“A Parable About Abortion” [and some entertaining movie scenes about believing in God]

Friday, September 13, 2019. 6:19 AM.

So, a human being who believes in abortion and has one, lives until her dying day. And after her death, her spirit/soul appears before the Lord for her judgment. And the Lord asks her: Do you still believe in abortion? And she answers: “Yes.” So, immediately, her spirit/soul is sent into the womb of a pregnant woman and she remains there for 8 months — at which time the pregnant woman has an abortion. And the aborted spirit/soul appears before the Lord a second time and he asks her again: “So, do you still believe in abortion?” And she considers this question more seriously this second time as she begins to understand that if she continues to believe in abortion she will endure another 8 months in a dark womb followed by another abortion. So, with tears in her eyes, she asks the Lord: “Lord, why are you doing this to me?” And the Lord answers her: “It is written: ‘Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” [Galatians 6:7, 8. NIV Study Bible]. And she replies: “Lord are you teaching me that as long as I believe in abortion, I will receive likewise?” And the Lord says: “What makes you think so?” And she answers: “Well Lord, that seems to be the reality of my situation now. That is what I am experiencing.” And the Lord says: “Would you like to change the reality of your situation? Would you like to enjoy a different experience?” And she answers the Lord: “Yes, Lord. I would like something better.” And the Lord says: “Are you willing to repent and believe the gospel?” And she answers: “Lord, would you help me to repent and believe the gospel; so I can enjoy eternal life rather than eternal death?” And the Lord answers her kindly: “Yes, I will help you to repent and believe the gospel so you may enjoy eternal life in Christ the Lord.”

Ann: “Thank you, Lord.”

Lord: “You are welcome.”

Ann: “Lord, why is there so much suffering in the world?”

Lord: “The world doesn’t believe the gospel.”

Ann: “How can the world be converted to Christ, Lord?”

Lord: “By hearing and believing the gospel.”

“Lilies of the Field – Amen”

Ann: “Lord, do you want us to believe in worldly religions?”

Lord: “No.”

Ann: “Why not?”

Lord: “Worldly religions believe in themselves, not in me. They teach their own doctrines rather than the gospel of God. They put their human religions between the people and God; so that the people don’t really know God and don’t believe the gospel. They are deceived just as Eve was deceived by the serpent in the garden.”

“Lest you be wise in your own sight, I want you to understand this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written,

“The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”; and this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins.”

“As regards the gospel, they are enemies of God for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. For just as you were at one time disobedient to God but now have received mercy because of their disobedience, so they too have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you they also may now receive mercy. For God has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all.

“Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!

“For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.”
