In the garden of Eden, the serpent, that is, the devil, was off-topic in his suggestion to Eve that she could disobey God and prosper. Eve went off-topic when she believed the devil. She disobeyed God. She got her husband to do as she had done. Soon after, they were put out of the garden where things were very good; and they struggled for the rest of their lives out in the world where things were very hard, where they were “free” to do as they pleased: to sow as they pleased and to reap what they sowed. And that is where we are today – out in that world where things are difficult – where the disobedient suffer from being away from God Who is good; and outside of His Kingdom which is blessed.
