“I Don’t Know . . . “

Saturday, March 19th, 2022. The last full day of winter. 11:36 AM.

I Don’t Know

A

Damn Thing

And I’m thankful not to know anything

And to understand that I don’t know.

It is not good to know.

It is better to believe in Him Who is True God

And to trust in Him

Than to be a know-it-all

Whose knowledge only leads to big troubles —

Like those who go to “the tree of the knowledge of good and evil”

And learn mostly evil

And then — for money – they pollute the whole world with the evil they know

And – under the influence of the god of this world – they serve the devil – the father of lies and a murderer from the beginning. And they cause great suffering to all living things.

And people who don’t believe in True God vote for these worldly ones who think they know something.

And those worldly ones write and pass laws that permit great evils to spread all over the earth.

And the earth becomes filled with violence and mad men and sickness and death.

And the people who live in spiritual darkness continue to vote for the unbelieving know-it-alls who continue to pretend they know the way out of all the world’s troubles – but, they don’t know.

They are deceived by the god of this world

And they deceive others.

And many follow them on the broad highway that goes to destruction.

The people choose to walk in the darkness of this world

And they turn away from the Light

They can’t stand in the Light

They can’t handle the Truth

Remember the movie: “A Few Good Men”?

And the famous line in that movie:

“You can’t handle the truth!”

Well . . . can you handle the Truth?

Can you stand in the Light?

The worldly ones like to go to the beach and lay down in the world’s light –

But they can’t stand up in the congregation of the righteous.

The righteousness of God is Jesus Christ.

If they turn away from the gospel and remain outside the kingdom of God

Then they remain unrighteous and unsaved.

And they lay down in the world’s light – at the beach —

And they burn —

As unbelieving children who know much about evil

But nothing of True God.

And then, True God shows them His wrath —

Because they refuse to believe in His Love and His Light and His Spirit and His Son.

The Three Crosses

“Now concerning food offered to idols: we know that “all of us possess knowledge”. This “knowledge” puffs up, but love builds up. If anyone imagines that he knows something, he does not yet know as he ought to know. But if anyone loves God, he is known by God.” -1 Corinthians 8:1-3. ESV Study Bible.
