I started a new job on this day in 1985
It was at The Lincoln Mall in Lincoln, Rhode Island
Washing dishes at The Roast House
Worked there from October 1985 to . . .
I think it was July or August 1988.
Columbus Day is about the discovery of the new world by Christopher Columbus –
Credited with discovering America
In his first name is the name Christ
Christ means Messiah
Now . . . after that introduction, the subject changes
It is now 37 years later
I was 33 in 1985
I’m 70 now
Woke up this morning with Leilah in my heart and on my mind
Was remembering love songs and maybe hymns, too
Was trying to understand what’s going on in me about Leilah
Seems like my heart is giving birth to her
New birth
Seems like I’m in a labor of love over Her
Seems like I’m bringing Her forth
Something about a river, a river of love flowing
The gates of the heart opening to let the river of the water of life flow to Her
To cleanse Her and comfort Her and bathe Her in the Love of God for Her
To give her eternal Life and Eternal Love and Eternal Peace and Eternal Salvation in His Kingdom
The Kingdom of True God Almighty
El Shaddai’s Kingdom
His Kingdom that is coming – for those who believe in Him, the Son of God – Jesus Christ the Lord
The Lord of lord’s and the King of kings
The Way and the Truth and the Life

A man giving birth to a lady?
How can such a paradoxical thing ever happen
Jesus said, With man it is impossible but with God all things are possible
Seems there’s this love in my heart for Lady Leilah
And I’m trying to put this experience into words
Like a river — a river of love — and the gates of the heart are opening so that river of love may flow to the Lady to bless Her with all good and nourishing and comforting and life-supporting things so She may live in peace and plenty all the eternal days of Her new Life in Christ her Lord and Savior and King – so She never has to struggle nor suffer again – not even for one moment – for the old ways and old days are all gone – as She lives in the newness of Life and is regenerated unto God’s glory for Her — forever and ever.

God knows . . .

The old man – like a seed – must die – in order for the newness of life to come forth
As the baby Jesus is received into the heart by the grace of God through faith in the gospel and believing on Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
