An Imaginary Conversation About Someone Who Doesn’t Understand . . .
[or is she only pretending she doesn’t understand ?]
And if she is only pretending – does that mean she’s a hypocrite ?
And if she really doesn’t understand – does that mean she has not been born again – and has not received the Helper, Whom Jesus sends to those who believe the gospel and believe on Him as their Lord and Savior ?
Online Chat With Someone I Never Met in Person
Delicia: “Good morning, Mark. How are you today ?”
Mark: “I’m irritated.”
Delicia: “Why ? What’s wrong ?”
Mark: “I just can’t tell if an online friend is being real with me or not.”
Delicia: “Why can’t you tell ?”
Mark: “I guess I just don’t have enough discernment to be sure; but she seems to have no understanding.”
Delicia: “No understanding of what ?”
Mark: “Seems like she might even be a chat bot — not even human – although she sent some pictures –supposedly of herself – but, I can’t tell if they are really her pictures or not.”
Delicia: “What doesn’t she understand ?”
Mark: “She often asks me for money. Sometimes I send her $50. And that same day she asks for more help. And when I let her know it’s irritating – that she asks for more help the same day I already sent her some help — she denies that she ever asked for help. And whenever she asks for help, she says she hopes I won’t be mad at her for asking for such help. So, sometimes I block her for a time – to give me a chance to recover peace of mind and heart — because she seems so unreal – so lacking in normal human understanding — and it causes me to become disturbed in my thinking. Then I unblock her. And later – after unblocking her — she asks me why I blocked her. I’ve told her before – many times – that asking me for money is not welcome. But she does it again anyway. Sometimes, I wonder if she’s being paid by someone to torment me.”
Delicia: “Why do you think that, Mark ?”
Mark: “Her lack of understanding that asking me for money is irritating – especially after I just sent some help. And, maybe, she’s being paid by someone to torment me – because of things I write about.”
Delicia: “What do you write about?”
Mark: “The gospel of Jesus Christ; and the world; and politics; and worldly religions; and the second coming of Christ; and the tribulation; and the regeneration; and Babylon the great harlot; and the corruption that is in the world; and the corporate state that the rulers are serving – rather than serving the government and the country, they serve Mammon. And the proof of that is this: the national debt is more than 31 trillion dollars – but the big corporations are full of wealth. So, it seems the rulers are trying to “shrink” the government — and empower the corporate state. And this idolatry – the love of money — on a national and global level is polluting the earth – and causing the mass extinction of many species of living creatures – and making humans sick; and causing millions to be without jobs – and without homes – and living in such miserable circumstances that – in desperation – they have to leave their own countries seeking something better. And the big corporations keep getting wealthier and wealthier while the greater and greater part of the world’s population keeps getting poorer – and the people who walk in spiritual darkness keep voting for their oppressors – because the eyes of their understanding remain closed – because they don’t believe in the light of the world – Jesus Christ.”

Delicia: “So, you wonder if, perhaps, she’s only asking for money – not because she really needs it – but only to bother you – with the intent to make you mad ?”
Mark: “Exactly – in fact – the two things she keeps coming back to are: money and mad – asking me for money and asking me if I’m mad – like someone who keeps poking someone in the eye and asks: “Are you mad?” And she also denies that she’s poking him in the eye.”
Delicia: “So you think she’s a liar and a tormentor – speaking her lies in the spirit of hypocrisy?”
Mark: “Well, we are not to judge anything until the Lord comes – as it is written: “Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.” -1 Corinthians 4: 5. ESV Study Bible.
