And my dad departed this life at 49 years of age – 7 times 7 equals 49.

The Continuing Story of Walker and Helen
They met on Mount Saint Helens in Washington State
Named Washington State after one of the founding fathers of our Country, the United States of America. George Washington.
Helen: “Walker, what shall we do now ?”
Walker: “Maybe we should walk down this mountain and into the town where I came from.”
Helen: “And what town did you come from, Walker ?”
Walker: “It’s called Foot of the Cross, Washinton State.”
Helen: “Is this town on the map, Walker ?”
Walker: “No, it isn’t.”
Helen: “Why not ?”
Walker: “It’s a spiritual town, Helen.”
Helen: “What do you mean by that, Walker ?”
Walker: “It is invisible to unbelievers and can only be entered by the grace of God through faith in his Son and by the help of his Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth and understanding, Whom Jesus sends into the very heart of each one who believes and follows Him.” Jesus said, “No one can come to Me unless the Father draws him.”
Helen: “And how may we follow Jesus ?”
Walker: “We follow Him by listening to His teaching and believing His words and obeying Him as best and as much as we are able to – with the help of His Holy Spirit living in our heart and enabling us to understand His teaching; and repent of our own ungodly ways; and instead, begin living according to His spiritual way, by His faith and His life and His love and His glory and His truth.”
Helen: “And what is His teaching ?”
Walker: “At the very beginning of His Work on earth it is written of Him: “Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” -The Gospel According to Mark 1:14, 15. ESV Study Bible.
Helen: “And how do we hear and believe and understand His gospel ?”
Walker: “We hear and believe and understand the gospel by reading The New Testament of the Holy Scriptures – beginning with the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and continuing with Acts of the Apostles and all of the Epistles and finally with The Book of Revelation. And we also read and learn to understand the Hebrew Scriptures in the first part of The Holy Bible – beginning with Genesis and continuing all the way through to and including the last Book of the Old Covenant, Malachi.”
Helen: “And how may I get The Holy Bible to read it and study it ?”
Walker: “I have study Bibles at home and Bible dictionaries; and commentaries that help Bible students learn to understand the meaning of the Scriptures. And there are also many online websites that provide helps to us – including at least one site that has the complete Bible for us to read it Online.”
Helen: “What do you mean by “Online,” Walker ?”
Walker: “That’s what the Internet is.”
Helen: “And what is the Internet ?”
Walker: “The Internet is a worldwide network of websites that are accessed by computers and smartphones that connect to it electronically and wirelessly.”
Helen: “Walker, would you help me to do this Bible studying and learning about God and Christ and the gospel ?”
Walker: “Yes Helen. That is what God wants us to do with and for each other: get to know Him, our Lord and Savior and Heavenly Father – becoming His children; so we may enter His kingdom and live in Him and for Him – and eventually even become gloriously regenerated – just as the heavens and the earth will be regenerated – so we may all live in newness of life and in eternity – never to die again; and to be free from all pain and sorrow.”
Helen: “Walker, would you tell me something about your hometown, Foot of the Cross, so I may get a picture of it in my mind ?”
Walker: “Well, the best way to get a picture of it in your mind, Helen is to understand where it is, in The Red River Valley.”
Helen: “Why is the river in the valley called The Red River, Walker ?”
Walker: “It’s called the red river because it flows from the side of our Savior, the Lord Jesus – Who shed His Blood – the pure and Precious and sinless blood of True God for all of us who have ever been born and lived on His green earth.”
Helen: “Is the river really red, Walker ?”
Walker: “To our natural born eyes The River looks clear as crystal; but to the eyes of our understanding that only God’s Word may open, we understand it as red with His blood.”
