We May Become

One.

We Must Be Married

She Must Be of the LORD

Not of Her Self

But

Him —

Her LORD

They Both Unify

His Glory

True God

Yielding Self

The Other

Even

His

Spirit

The Spirit of the Lord

Them

Making Them One

No Longer Two

But

One True God – as the Father and the Son are One.

Walking home from Bellingham’s supermarket last Saturday April 25, 2026 on Social Street in Woonsocket, I saw a beautiful young woman in black. She was walking toward me – as I was walking toward her. She was in the distance. I was hoping she wouldn’t turn into a side street and disappear before we met — before I could see her clearly. She was wearing a short skirt. As we got closer, I took off my knit hat in respect to her. I didn’t know what else to do. I only took one look at her as we got closer. We both just kept walking – she toward Massachusetts – me in the other direction. Maybe next time – if such a situation should happen again – I should stop and confess: “I don’t know what to do about you. Your beauty just stops me.” Maybe, if she wants to tell me something – she might speak; but, if she doesn’t say anything or do anything, then I will just continue walking.

[A few weeks ago, something similar happened. It was a different woman that time. That one was nearly in a bathing suit top. Her abdomen was showing. She had a beautiful body. I felt as if she had been planted there to tempt me; so, I just continued my walk home from the supermarket.]

I don’t need to say a word –

Just stop.

If she stops then maybe our eyes will meet –

And maybe the Lord’s Spirit will give her or me something to say to the other.

For me, love is always bound to fail in this world that is under God’s curse – since the beginning – when Eve listened to and was deceived by the devil masquerading as a serpent in the garden of Eden. And the sinful nature in the heart also makes things go awfully wrong in relationships. So, romantic love in the world that lies in wickedness is only a tease – like the beautiful young women at myfreecams who are only there for tokens of money – not for love – or, rather – only for the love of money.

And my love for them is also tainted by the love for their appearance – the beautifulness of their body of flesh. And I’m only seeing an image on my computer screen. And we ought not to admire images. It is against the first commandment. See Exodus 20: 3-6. ESV.

Someone will say, “Then don’t go to myfreecams.”

Then what?

Go to your room and pray.

And then what?

Read your Bible.

And then what?

Go to your room and pray again.

And then what ?

Read your Bible again.

And then what ?

Suffer.

“We are called not only to believe in Christ; but also to suffer for His sake.”

Until we grow old and die.

It is written that “the days are evil.”

This human life seems like it’s only a test. We are not here to have ourselves a good time. We are here to “love not the world nor the things of this world” – but rather — to love God and love our neighbor as we love ourself. We are here to deny our self and take up our cross and follow Him.
