August: “Hi April.”
April: “Is that all you have to say to me, August ?”
August: “I can’t help it, April. You’re so impressive. You make me almost speechless.”
April: “What is so impressive about me, August ?”
August: “Well, for one thing, April – you’re like all over the place.”
April: “All over the place . . . What does that mean ?”
August: “Everywhere I turn there you are, April – before me behind me above me.”
April: “Well, August . . . Do you realize Today is my last day ? Tomorrow will be the first of May. What will you do without me ?”
August: “I will remember you, April – come first of May. You are the air that I breathe and I love you.”

April: “What will you do without me, tomorrow – August ?”
August: “Why don’t you just stay here, April ?”
April: “I just can’t be here with you come First of May, August. It just won’t be April, anymore.”
August: “Well, April . . . if I can be here in May – and I’m August – I just don’t understand why you can’t be here with me, too – Come First of May.”
April: “Well, maybe it’s because you believe in Jesus – and have eternal life in Him. And I’m not born again – by believing the gospel of Christ Jesus, the Son of God. I only believe in my self.”
August: “Well April . . . why don’t you become a believer in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ – and receive eternal life with Him ? Then you will be permitted to abide in Him and remain here with me come first of May – and every day thereafter ?”
April: “Maybe I’m only here as a temporary, August.”
August: “Would you like to become converted from temporary to permanent status, April ?”
April: “Maybe it isn’t up to me to make such a decision, August ?”
August: “April, it is up to you to make such a decision. And, if you will do what the Scripture says, April, you will be saved – and enjoy eternal life in Christ.”
April: “What Scripture, August ?”
August: “If you confess with your mouth ‘the Lord Jesus’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved,’ April.”
April: “Really, August ?”
August: “If you believe God’s Word, April – it will become really true for you. God saves those who believe Him and His Word.”
April: “I confess with my mouth ‘the Lord Jesus’ and believe in my heart that God raised Jesus from the dead.”
August: “April, you are now saved. You have eternal life in Christ. He is the way and the truth and the life. And – God willing April – tomorrow we will both be here on The First of May.”
April: “Do I get a new name August – since I am now born again ?”
August: “Maybe April your new name is April May.”
