The “god of this world” does not love
His name is Satan
Among Satan’s attributes is “Destroyer.”
He is “the god of this world.”
Those who choose to love the world and “the things of the world”
Are under the influence of the god of this world.
Satan is “the father of lies”
As their father is
So are his children.
Destructive
Brutish
Hateful
Domineering
Lovers of money
Lovers of worldly power
The god of this world is also known as “the Deceiver.”
Those who are deceived and deceiving others are also the children of the Deceiver.
The god of this world is also known as “the Wicked one” and the Evil one.
Those who are wicked and do evil are the children of the Evil one.
Many of that wicked one do not believe there is a devil.
That’s how much they are deceived by him.
They don’t even realize his presence in their hearts.
“The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!
“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.” -Jesus [Matthew 6: 22-24 ESV Study Bible].
