Why Would He Do That ?
Thoughts About Charitable Giving
Jesus said:
“Jesus answered, ‘If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.’” -Matthew 19: 21. NIV Study Bible.
Giving to an incorporated charity is not exactly giving to the poor. And Jesus also told his disciples –
“He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.’” -The Gospel According to Mark 16: 15-16. NIV Study Bible.
Charitable corporations that “go into all the world” by millions of mailings every month seeking money from millions of people – so those corporate charities can use other people’s money to help the poor – hmmm – that is not exactly what our Lord Jesus said.

Kings, Queens, Presidents, Representatives, Senators, Dictators, Justices, Executives, Legislators, Military Leaders, Soldiers, Policemen, Firemen, Cashiers, Doctors, Nurses, Secretaries, Fishermen, Captains of Ships, Captains of Industry – every man, woman, and child –
Perhaps even every cat and dog every darling little kitten and rabbit and squirrel and bird – the sparrows and the eagles the hawks and the bumblebees — the flies and the mosquitoes the dolphins and the whales the sharks and the turtles the clams and the oysters . . . every living thing on God’s Earth –

If you fear me and believe in and on my only begotten Son Jesus Christ – Who died for you and shed His Precious Blood – the Blood of God’s Only-Begotten Son – to pay the penalty for all your sins —
And obey The Living Word of God.
And I will also show those who do not fear me – who do not believe on My Son Jesus Christ – The Lord over All —
I will show them condemnation and wrath and tribulation and eternal damnation.”

This morning I was having troubling thoughts –
Thoughts that make me fear God the Father’s wrath.
I prayerfully hope it is His Will and not my own will to write them and publish them.
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ
May God the Father be merciful to me.
Thoughts such as the following:
Why did God allow the devil to enter the garden of Eden and tempt Eve ?
Why would the devil take the form of a serpent to deceive Eve ? Aren’t most human beings afraid of snakes ?
Is it likely that Eve would be deceived by a talking serpent telling her she could do what God had warned Adam not to do ? Why didn’t she run away from a talking serpent ?
Why did God punish Adam and Eve so severely ?
Why didn’t God forgive them ?
They were an innocent couple.
What did they know about evil ?
Why did God cast Lucifer/Satan down to Earth –
And allow that wicked one, the Destroyer, the Deceiver, “the murderer from the beginning” to roam around on earth seeking whom he may devour” ?
Why has God allowed the devil to be “the god of this world” ?
Jesus said:
“God so loved the world . . .” -John 3:16
If God so loves the world, why does He permit the devil – the wicked one — to be “the god of this world” ?
Why did God allow a worldly Roman Catholic so-called “church” to persecute and torture and kill multi-millions of Christian believers in Jesus Christ during The Dark Ages of The Inquisition – that went on for centuries ?
Why do people choose to belong to such a worldly religion today ?
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” -Jesus [Matthew 7: 13-14 NIV Study Bible].
Have the members of the Roman Catholic religion entered into the wide gate and onto the broad road that leads them to destruction ?
Do the Roman Catholics believe in “another gospel;” and “another Jesus”; and “another Mary” – – another mediator between God and man ? Mary, the mother of Jesus, was not immaculately conceived by the Holy Spirit; and she did not remain a virgin after Jesus was born.
In Galatians 1, Paul warns about a “different gospel.” -Galatians 1: 6-7 NIV.

Since there is only one mediator between God and man – Christ Jesus – then what is the Hail Mary prayer doing to those who pray to “Mary” ? That prayer of the Roman Catholics makes their “Mary” another mediator between God and man.
And there is only head of the True Church of God – our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
“For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all men—the testimony given in its proper time.” -1 Timothy 2: 5-6 NIV Study Bible.
“The Spirit clearly says that it later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.” -1 Timothy 4: 1-5 NIV Study Bible.
Why do people vote for and support worldly politics that puts their country’s national treasury into 40 trillion dollars in debt – and also allows their friends to become multi-billionaires – and turn against the other countries and raise tariffs against those countries – which results in higher prices for all things the voters and non-voters need – such as food and clothing and houses and apartments and medical insurance and all the other necessities of life ?
Why does God allow His world to become so corrupt ?
Why does He allow those who believe in His only-begotten Son – Jesus Christ our Lord — to suffer and suffer and suffer so much that they begin to wonder if He really is a merciful God Who loves them ?

The people who killed millions of Jews during World War Two . . .
The Roman Catholics who killed millions of Christians during The Dark Ages of The Inquisition . . .
The politicians who legalized abortion of millions of unborn human babies . . .
The ones who have been killing Ukrainians for about 5 years . . .
And those who support and vote for such people . . .
Are they all the same kind of people ?
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
“This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
“Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.

Maybe God allows evil to exist in His creation to allow each one of us to choose which way we live. He gives us free will. And he also gives us the gospel of Jesus Christ – so we may become acquainted with Him through His Son Jesus Christ – and He gives grace and faith in Jesus and he sends His Holy Spirit – the Spirit of the Lord – the Spirit of truth and understanding into the hearts of those who receive Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior – so that we may be saved from His Wrath that He warns is coming upon the whole world that lies in wickedness and that is under the influence of “the god of this world” – the devil, Satan.
“Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.” 1 John 2: 15-17 NIV Study Bible.
