“Your Role, April, If You Choose to Accept It . . .”

Sunday, May 31st, 2020. 10:10 AM.

Greetings April

Wishing you a lovely day, today!

“The LORD bless you and keep you;

The LORD make his face shine upon you

And be gracious to you;

The LORD turn his face toward you

And give you peace.”

-Numbers 6:24-26. NIV Study Bible.

You are welcome to call me and speak to me.

I’m willing to listen to you.

I’ll try to be like a first-grader in class and just listen

Until given permission by sister to speak.

April: “Why, August?”

August: “The LORD requires me to learn to listen and obey His lady.”

April: “His lady?”

Yes, April.

April: “August, you believe that I am the Lord’s lady?”

August: “Yes, April.”

April: “And what is my role, August?”

August: “Your role, April, if you choose to accept it, is to

Listen to the Lord our God speaking to your heart by His Spirit leading you into all truth and being with you unto the end of the age.” See Matthew 28:16-20; John 14:15-31; 15:26, 27; 16:5-16; 17:1-26.

April: “And how am I to become in this relationship with the Lord’s Spirit so that I may hear Him speaking to my heart?”

August: “It will be given to you as you read and accept and believe the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior — by the grace of God through faith in the Scriptures and through faith in the Son of the Living God.”
