“Love Changes Everything”
I heard this song yesterday.
It is so beautiful that I thought: It must be a classic!
However, it seemed I had never heard it before!
How could that be?
I listen to music every day!
How could I have not heard this beautiful song?
Love changes everything
Warning!
Going to change the subject, now.
Going to write about God.
Many may roll their eyes in apathy:
“O geeze,” they might say. “Do we have to hear about that again?”
Many don’t know God.
Just like me, yesterday – before hearing the song “Love Changes Everything.”
They may have no idea of True God.
They may have no idea of Who He IS.
And what He can do for their heart and soul.
They may not want to hear anything about “heart and soul,” either; that, too, may make them roll their eyes in apathy. They may be capable of only experiencing their own mind; and their own thoughts and their own opinions. They may believe that is all there is; and that all writing and songs about Love and God are only words – and nothing more.
They haven’t been born again.
Again, they may roll their eyes in indifference and unbelief.
They may be only natural – not spiritual, yet. They may not know God by His grace – through faith in His Son; they may not have heard the gospel, yet. They may not understand that the kingdom of God is really coming.
Only by being born again will the love of God be poured into their hearts by His Holy Spirit. Only then will they receive the Helper, His Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, the Spirit of understanding, by Whom the eyes of their understanding may begin to open; and they may become able to see His kingdom and even enter that kingdom of God and be saved.
John 3:1-36. ESV
“God is Love” — His Holy Scriptures tell us who believe in Him, who believe in His Living Word.
Those who don’t believe God, don’t receive His Love; and so, they are not changed.
They are not born again by His Holy Spirit, yet.
Love Changes Everything (lyrics) Michael Ball & II Divo
Love changes everything
“This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” -1 John 1: 5-7. NIV.
1 John 4:7-12. NIV.
“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.”
God is Love. In Him there is no darkness.
Are you in Him? Are you in God—even in His Son? Are you in His Love?
Are you being changed?
Or, are you like a merely natural-born baby — who refuses — all his life long — to be changed?
1 Corinthians 15:50-58 NIV.
“I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed – in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”
“Where, O death, is your victory?
“Where, O death, is your sting?
“The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
“Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” -1 Corinthians 15: 50-58. NIV.
1 Corinthians 15: 1-58. NIV.

“And now I will show you the most excellent way.
“If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
“Love never fails.” -1 Corinthians 12: 31b-13:8a. NIV.
God’s Way of Salvation (John 3:16)
“Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, and saying,
“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
- Mark 1:14, 15. ESV Study Bible.
