Sanctify Government from Politics
[Only the Coming of the Kingdom of God Will Accomplish This]
“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” -Colossians 3:17 ESV Study Bible.
“Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.” -Romans 13:1 ESV Study Bible.
Since God instituted government, then government service should be done only by those who truly believe in Him; and are dedicated in their hearts to serving Him; and to His will being done on earth.

Is politics tainted by the works of the flesh? Is that why governments and nations are in such turmoil? Let us [U.S.] look at what “the works of the flesh” are — and see if politics is unworthy of association with God’s Government.

It is neither right nor good for secular politics to pervert government to the will of sinners who are self-seeking – who love money and power – who are under the influence of the god of this world – who are committing adultery with Babylon the great prostitute.

Is it wrong to go into politics?
“Do those who go into politics immediately place themselves under the influence of the god of this world? Do they immediately become enmeshed in worldly concerns that turn their hearts to such matters as money and power; and legislating laws that serve the worldly and base interests of worldly-minded people?
For example: legalizing the killing of unborn human beings. Isn’t it wrong to deprive human beings of their right to life? This law spreads violence throughout the whole world.
Legalizing lotteries; gambling and casinos; and sports betting. Such laws serve to corrupt society.
Is it wrong to legislate corporate business laws that have brought about such an imbalance of great wealth and power for the few; and such poverty and helplessness for the many that the world is now suffering such waves of poor immigrants desperately trying to flee horrible circumstances in their very poor countries – and finding that they are not wanted in the countries they are going to?
