Good News for a Bad World
Gospel means good news
The good news is that True God loves us and has provided for us the way and the truth and the life.
All we have to do is listen and understand and believe the good news
And receive the love of the truth and thus be saved.
The Word of God is the Sword of the Spirit
It pierces our heart.
It circumcises our heart.
It removes the hard covering.
It gives us a heart of flesh instead of a heart of stone.
It plants the seed of God’s Word inside our heart.
If we receive the love of the truth and believe God’s Word
The baby Jesus begins to grow in our heart – by the grace of God and the faith of Jesus Christ and the help of His Holy Spirit.
And thus, we are born again; and we grow up in Him – even attaining to the full stature of Christ in us, the hope of glory.
We are changed from being sinners to being sons of God.
We inherit eternal life and His kingdom.
We become members of His household, the household of God.
We enjoy forgiveness of sin and His mercy; and His coming salvation for all people who believe the gospel of Christ and receive Jesus and His Holy Spirit.

People who don’t get born again – who refuse to allow the gospel of Christ to circumcise their heart – are only living by their intellect. They see life and all its problems in a logical and matter-of-fact way. And in their godless [secular] ways of living unrighteously, they are spreading violence and injustice and pollution all over the earth. They look fine on the outside; but inside, their hearts are like Frankenstein. They lack the heart-felt humanity of Christ’s Holy Spirit and true God’s Light and Understanding by which only we can see that killing unborn human beings is not true God’s way; and living in pursuit of ever-increasing wealth is as wrong as one man buying up all the sources of fresh water in his hometown just to keep it all for himself – and allowing the rest of the people to suffer in want of enough water to live their lives. And because secular [godless] rulers have written and passed laws that legalize abortion and legalize an economic foundation based on “the artificial person” – the corporation – that heartless, soulless, non-human entity – the whole wicked world system becomes increasingly chaotic and violent and unlivable. And the ungodly [secular] rulers continue in their godless and ineffective ways of vainly trying to solve their communities’ problems.
Because of their unbelief in true God, they remain under the influence of “the god of this world” – the devil – the father of lies and a murderer from the beginning.

We cannot save the world.
All we can do is listen to and believe God’s Word.
And place our complete trust in the Son of God, the Savior of all who believe on Him.
By repenting and believing in the gospel.
Unbelievers will say, I can’t do that. I can’t turn away from the world and believe in the gospel.
If you believe on Jesus Christ, He will send his Holy Spirit into your heart. And the Holy Spirit is the Helper. He will help you do what you cannot do all by yourself.
It’s our choice.
We may go God’s Way – and live in Him – by His Spirit in our hearts;
Or
We can go without the Savior – and not be saved –
And pass away as the world that lies in wickedness passes away.
