“Dolores, the ‘I Don’t Care’ Girl, Begins to Care”
By the grace of God and the faith of Jesus Christ and the help of the Holy Spirit — the Spirit of truth and understanding – Dolores begins receiving the light of understanding. She begins to discern between the righteousness of God and the wickedness in the world. And so, she begins to understand that the words of the world are wrong – and lead to deceit and deception and delusions and lies and false religions and false philosophies – while the words of God are right – and lead to righteousness and salvation through faith in The Living God. For example: one of the false memes of the world is “It’s all good.” However, Dolores began to see with the eyes of her understanding becoming opened that wickedness was in the world – and it was not good – not good at all.
“Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.” -Ephesians 5:15-21 ESV Study Bible.
