What can We The People do about the awful state of the world system . . . ?
We can abide in peace – by the grace of God and the faith of Jesus Christ and by the help of the Helper whom He sends into the hearts of those who choose to believe the truth – God’s Word is Truth. The Helper is the Holy Spirit Whom Jesus tells us about in The Gospel According to John.

What evildoers ?
“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. True God instituted government.
Man instituted politics.
Politics is to government what cancer is to the human body – corruption.
Just as the devil –disguised as a serpent – entered Eden and deceived Eve – and Adam went along with his wife and did what God warned Adam not to do – so Politics comes into government and writes and passes laws legalizing many ungodly things that pollute the environment; demoralize the people; corrupt governments; drive their treasuries into massive debt – in the service of greed and the corporate state of Babylon the great. And corporations are artificial persons – they are no more real than the fictional man-made Frankenstein. And that fictional-artificial person Frankenstein was a monster because he had no heart and no soul. Man cannot give heart and soul to anything. True God created man; but man created artificial persons – the corporations – some of which have become monstrously big and powerful – and they pollute the environment — and they are amoral in their heartless pursuit of profit.

And now, the very world that the unbelieving masses of men love so much — and love the things of the world that God’s Word warns us not to love – that world is being destroyed by those who love it. Their very love of ungodliness/wickedness has become so flagrant that it is bringing about such dissensions and conflicts and violence — and making the environment so unlivable for all life forms on earth! And since “the god of this world” is the devil and is the father of lies and a murderer from the beginning” we can see his influence manifested in the works of the world, namely: lies, deceptions, “deceiving and being deceived” – worldly violence of individuals — and of nations wantonly attacking their neighbor nations – wantonly and unmercifully destroying them and their people. The nations that don’t know true God tolerate many false beliefs such as false religions and other falsehoods such as the philosophies of mere men and their godless economic policies that serve the corporate state of Babylon the great harlot – at the expense of the treasuries of the governments these public servants are supposed to be responsible for; but these public servants have not been responsibly serving the best interests of their governments.

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” -The Gospel According to Matthew 6:24 KJV.
So, just as True God brought about the great Flood during Noah’s time — to destroy the wickedness on earth that was prevailing and spreading violence all over the world – True God is coming again — by way of the second coming of Christ to bring to a final end the corrupt world system.
What Can We The People Do ?
We can’t save the world system – but we can save ourselves by doing what the Savior of the world has told us to do:
“Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” -The Gospel According to Mark 1:14, 15 KJV.
“Save yourselves from this crooked generation” -Acts 2:40b ESV.
“Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified. Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, ‘Brothers, what shall we do?’ And Peter said to them, ‘Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.’ And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, ‘Save yourselves from this crooked generation.’ So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.” -The Acts of the Apostles 2:36-41. If you think you’re saved by trusting in membership in a worldly and high-towering religion – rather than individually and personally putting your faith and hope and trust in The Living God — the Word of God Who takes away the sin of the world – then you are sadly mistaken and deceived and being led astray.
Behold, how the Good Sheperd comes to seek and to save those who are lost – those who are asleep in the world that lies in wickedness – those who unwittingly vote for and support and listen to the wolves in sheep’s clothing who destroy them – leading them astray with pretentious words – telling them what they want to hear – rather than telling them the truth – and in their state of mind – the state of unbelief toward True God — they walk in spiritual darkness – they think that evil is good and good is evil – they think that hypocrisy is the way to go – not understanding that it’s the way to go to hell – and so they go on the broad highway that leads to destruction – loving the world and the things of the world – eschewing righteousness and godliness and holiness unto the Lord God – practicing contempt and carelessness – in the deception of false pride in themselves and their love of money and power and worldliness – they willingly worship the god of this world and Babylon the great harlot and enjoy being seduced by her into fornication and adultery with her – they become believers in the corporate state – they love stocks and bonds and mutual funds – they admire high towers and cathedrals – they devote themselves to the love of money – supposing that gain is godliness – willingly ignorant they are of the gospel and true righteousness – their false beliefs are from their man-made constitutions – rather than the holy Scriptures. Their end will be as their works deserve for trusting in themselves rather than in the Savior of all men, particularly believers.
Their world is coming apart – just as the man-made Titanic came apart – that outwardly impressive ship that was doomed to destruction – as the Twin Towers of the world trade center were doomed to destruction – both of them symbols of what is coming upon the whole world system — from True God Almighty.
“For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And
“If the righteous is scarcely saved,

Until our love is given, it remains as an acorn unattached and unbroken – only a seed that is going nowhere and being nothing. But as soon as it takes root in mother earth . . . it begins to receive life and nourishment and thus is enabled it begin its life journey — to break open and then to sprout – and begin seeing the Light and the blue sky and to feel the fresh air and receive the rain drops from heaven upon its tiny little stem and leaf — and become a part of something greater than its encapsulated self could ever be all by itself –trusting in and believing in only its separate little self in the darkness. It learns what it means to be born again.
Hey . . . come on. It’s only an acorn! How much does an acorn know ?
How do we know what an acorn knows ? And what an oak tree knows ?
Maybe they know more than we do; maybe they know better than to be involved in the world system. And maybe they know better than to say a single word all their lifelong days of being peaceful and quiet and just giving glory to God by being what He made them to be in His Creation.
